Fng Fornes Logistics new sponsor of the Zafiro Palma Marathon 2018.
FNG Fornes Logistics will be the new logistics partner of the 4th edition of the Zafiro Palma Marathon, which will be held on Sunday, October 14th, on the island of Mallorca.
The company will be a gold sponsors and it will cover the logistics needs of the organization. With this objective, the organization will have storage space available during the days leading up to the event and vehicles for the distribution of the refreshment points material placed throughout the marathon circuit on Sunday.
The signing of the collaboration agreement was held today at 12 am in the facilities of FNG Fornes Logistics, located in Marratxí, with the presence of David Thompson, director of the marathon and Enrique López, General Director of FNG Fornes Logistics, who has highlighted "the importance of logistics in events, especially of this size, so that everything develops successfully."
The marathon has become a reference event on the island for both runners and visitors for several years. The last edition brought together 10,000 runners of 45 different nationalities who run in the three categories on Sunday (marathon, half marathon and 10km) and the Palma Kids Run children's run held the previous Saturday. The circuit is one of the attractions of the marathon, with the start and finish line in the bay of Palma, in front of the Cathedral and through the historic center of the city.
Within the framework of the event, other parallel events are held in the city such as the Runner's Expo, the Breakfast Run or the Pasta Party.
