FNG Fornes Logistics ends 2024 with a balance sheet that stands out for sustained growth, expansion of operational capacity and overcoming unexpected challenges. This year, we have not only added square metres and new clients, but we have also faced adversities that have united us as a team and reaffirmed our commitment to offer the best service.

A year of growth

With the aim of responding to the growth in demand, in April we started up the new facilities in Valencia, significantly increasing the operational capacity compared to the previous ones, a key strategic step to strengthen operations in the peninsula, mainly in the Mediterranean region.

The DANA

Unfortunately, in October, our facilities in Valencia suffered the devastating consequences of the torrential rains and flooding caused by the DANA. The material damage, lack of supplies and the accumulation of mud meant that the Valencian delegation had to be declared inoperative for more than 10 days.

However, thanks to the effort and commitment of the workers who threw themselves into the cleaning work and providing administrative support from the rest of the delegations, the company was able to resume its activity and was operational again in record time.

The human side

The tragedy in Valencia was accompanied by hundreds of solidarity initiatives to send aid to the worst affected areas. At FNG Fornes Logistics, knowing the situation very well, we placed our logistical resources at the disposal of several organisations that collected large quantities of material and food, which we subsequently transferred to zone 0 of the tragedy.

Despite this exceptional situation, this year we have continued to support clubs and sporting initiatives that reflect and with which we share the values of effort and teamwork, including the Illes Balears Palma Futsal, with which we have once again celebrated titles, the TUI Palma Marathon Mallorca, where we are logistics partners, the FNG San Silvestre Palma or the Rudy Fernández Basketball Campus, focused on children.

With its sights set on 2025, the team faces the future with renewed energy and the aim of continuing to be the best strategic ally for its clients.
