FNG Fornes Logistics wanted to give support to the crew at the beginning of their journey.
The company, who collaborates with the Ocean Dream project, has come to see off the five women who will experience the adventure of crossing the Atlantic to give visibility to cancer and raise funds for the investigation of this disease.
The event, celebrated last Saturday, began with the intervention of the president and the RCNP commodore who delivered to the Ocean Dream crew a club pennant. The rest of the project's collaborators also attended during the morning to show their support and encouragement to the five women.
The exit of the 16-meter sailboat in which they will experience this voyage, was carried out within the framework of the traditional Bon Vent regatta. Relatives, friends, collaborators and other sailors gathered in the exact moment of the beginning of the journey to offer these five women the necessary impetus to overcome this challenge
The trip has begun but through its website it is still possible to collaborate through its crowdfunding system or the purchase of a solidarity towel: www.oceandream2017.com
